This makes the cable robust, yet it still glides effortlessly through stitches. The cables have a hole at the ends into which the cable key fits, securing the needle tip to the cable. The holes are also useful for inserting a lifeline into the knitting to finish the work safely or to pick up dropped stitches. Using the end caps, you can transform an interchangeable cable into a straight needle or a stitch holder. This cable can be used with all KnitPro interchangeable needle tips.
