The ChiaoGoo TWIST Lace interchangeable knitting needles are very versatile and of exclusive quality. For example, they are available in three different lengths (8, 10, and 13 cm), so they can be combined with various TWIST or SPIN cables to create any desired circular knitting needle: from fine (1.50 mm) to thick (10.00 mm) and from short (23cm) to long (150cm). This makes them suitable for diverse knitting projects (circular), from knitting with few stitches, fine yarns, or small diameters, such as socks, mittens, hats, or baby clothes, to working with many stitches or coarse yarns, such as cardigans, blankets, or shawls. The stainless steel knitting needles have a beautiful sharp point; which also makes them very suitable for knitting patterns that require multiple stitches, such as openwork patterns (English lace), studs, sleeves, or cables. Furthermore, the knitting needles are very easy to use; the mirror-smooth surface allows stitches to slide smoothly on and off the needle, while the matte finish prevents annoying light reflections. Stainless steel is hypoallergenic, meaning it can also be safely used by most people allergic to nickel. The steel alloy is extremely strong and wear-resistant, yet light and fully recyclable. The TWIST Lace stainless steel interchangeable knitting needle tips are available in lengths of 8, 10, and 13 cm and in various needle sizes.

These ChiaoGoo TWIST Lace stainless steel needle tips are 8 cm long. Available in needle sizes 1.50-8.00 mm. From a needle thickness of 3.50 mm, the needles are hollow, so the thicker sizes are also lightweight. NB! Needle sizes 1.50-3.25 mm have a MINI (M) thread size; the 3.50-5.00 mm needle has a small (S) thread size.

General information applicable to all ChiaoGoo interchangeable parts

TWIST and SPIN products have the same thread sizes, so they can be combined. The thread size is clearly visible in the laser-engraved knitting needle tips and cables:

• M = MINI for needle sizes 1.50-2.50 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 1.50-3.25 mm (8 cm)
• S = Small for needle sizes 2.75-5.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 3.50-5.00 mm (8 cm)
• L = Large for needle sizes 5.50-10.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 5.50-8.00 mm (8 cm)

MINI is not compatible with S and L thread sizes, and therefore all MINI needle tips require a MINI cable. Please note that the 10 and 13 cm MINI needle tips are too long to be used with the 5, 13, or 15 cm MINI cables. However, the cable length can be easily extended using a MINI cable connector. ChiaoGoo also offers adapters to connect products with MINI, S, and L thread sizes.

Note: ChiaoGoo MINI Shorties needle tips (needle size 1.50-3.25 mm) are an exception. These can only be combined with parts with a corresponding MINI thread size.
